I agree this small drop in unemployment rate doesn’t mean jobs will be easy to find. The unemployment rate should drop more. I hope this happens soon.

I agree that it might be possible that the a slight decrease in unemployment rate would be because of massive layoffs slowing down. It’s also good that the retail and services sectors have new jobs.

Even i feel this minor drop in unemployment rate is good news for people living in California. I agree it would be more accurate to rely on payroll numbers, as this will give the correct details.

That’s good news to hear that in some state unemployment is dropping. Over time, I hope the trend continues in states that suffer the worst unemployment rise. However, we still have a long way to go, but we’ll recover soon enough! Great post by the way!

For me this is good news, it shows that the gov’t has created many jobs to occupy the 10% that lessen the unemployment rate. I just hope it would not stop there.

I think the rate is somewhat higher because many people are not on unemployment or counted.
