All of the property in Del Mar is medium to high priced due to its wonderful location. The Ocean is literally right outside and you have access to many major freeways easily. Interstate 5 goes right through Del Mar on the ocean side and allows you to get to Los Angeles or any other area of San Diego very easily.

One feature of Del Mar that makes it very special is the attractions located there. If you live in Del Mar, you have no excuse to be bored as there is so much to do in a relatively small area. Of course there is the beach. Del Mar is famous for it's great waves and awesome beaches. Some beaches of note are the Del Mar Dog Beach which is one of the few beaches that allow you to bring your dog unleashed and let it go wild. Blacks Beach, which is a clothing optional beach and famous world wide and Torrey Pines State Beach. This isn't your typical beach as it incorporates Blacks Beach on the southern end which is overlooked by a hang glider port, and traditional areas on the northern end. Near the beach is Torrey Pines State Park which has numerous trails for hiking and running and has beautiful canyons. The world famous golf course is located there.

There is also the Del Mar Racetrack and the Del Mar fair. These are both great and entertaining things for you to experience. The racetrack is great fun for the adults and the fair is wonderful for the entire family.

No matter what type of home you are looking for, you can find it in Del Mar. Whether you want to be as close to the beach as possible or prefer a nice house overlooking a canyon, you can make your dreams come true in Del Mar.
