Near the beach is Torrey Pines State Park which has numerous trails for hiking and running and has beautiful canyons. The world famous golf course is located there.

There is also the Del Mar Racetrack and the Del Mar fair. These are both great and entertaining things for you to experience. The racetrack is great fun for the adults and the fair is wonderful for the entire family.
